Bridge Cutting Services in Guangzhou Bridge

The Guangzhou Bridge, a crucial connection between the Fangcun district and the central areas like Haizhu, was constructed in 1995 and opened to traffic in 1998. It is one of the most convenient routes for residents in the area, with over 100,000 vehicles passing daily during peak times.

After years of operating beyond its capacity, the Hedong Bridge faced several issues, including termite infestations, burned cable stays and pier columns, and damage to the bridge deck by heavy vehicles. The bridge's cable stays have exceeded their service life, and the approach bridges have developed multiple cracks and other structural problems.

On August 13th, the Hedong Bridge was fully closed for major repairs. This renovation aims to rejuvenate the bridge, enhancing its safety, comfort, and noise reduction capabilities. During the demolition of the approach bridges, careful consideration was given to the densely populated areas on both sides of the bridge. To minimize noise and dust and ensure a short construction period, the project team decided to use Fili’s Steel-Concrete Diamond Wire Saws after thorough comparisons.

To expedite the renovation and improve service to the community, the Fili team conducted several on-site inspections. They customized the wire saw formula to match the bridge's structure, width, and specific construction requirements, enhancing the sharpness, wear resistance, and stability of the tools.

Fili’s Diamond Wire Saws are widely used in stone mining, block processing, and infrastructure projects like high-rises, subways, and bridges. The steel-concrete series of Fili Diamond Wire Saws, specifically designed for infrastructure, have proven to be highly efficient, durable, safe, and environmentally friendly. These saws significantly reduce noise, prevent dust, and ensure the safety of the remaining structures during renovation, making them the preferred cutting tool for many construction companies and earning high praise from clients.
